Course Registration Terms and Conditions
By registering for The Film Founder’s Blueprint (the “Course”), you agree to the following terms. Please read them before completing your registration.
1. Educational Purpose Only; No Legal Advice
The Course is an educational program providing general information about film business structures, including limited liability company formation and revenue waterfall concepts. The Course is for general educational and informational purposes only.
The Course does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. The information presented is general in nature and is not tailored to your specific circumstances, project, or jurisdiction. Laws vary by state and change over time
No attorney-client relationship is created by your registration for, attendance at, or participation in the Course, or by any communication during the Course, including questions asked and answered during any Q&A portion. Reena Sehgal, Esq. is not acting as your attorney, and nothing in the Course should be relied upon as legal advice for your specific situation. For advice regarding your specific circumstances, you should consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of any information presented in the Course without seeking your own professional advice.
2. Course Format
The Course is a live, online seminar conducted via Zoom, approximately 90 minutes in length, including a presentation and a live question-and-answer portion. Registration includes access to the live session and any accompanying materials provided by the instructor.
3. Payment
The registration fee is due at the time of registration. Your registration is not confirmed until payment is received. Space is limited, and registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis up to the stated capacity.
4. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers
By you: You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund if you cancel at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled start time of the Course. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time are not eligible for a refund.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start time, or are otherwise unable to attend, you may either:
(a) transfer your registration to another person for the same session; or
(b) apply your payment as a credit toward the next available session of the Course only, subject to availability.
A credit under (b) applies solely to the next scheduled session of the Course, does not carry forward beyond that next session, and has no cash value. Because seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, a credit does not reserve or guarantee a seat, and is honored only if space remains available at the time you request to apply it. A credit not used for the next available session is forfeited.
By us: If we cancel or reschedule the Course, you will be offered, at your choice, either a full refund or a transfer of your registration to the rescheduled date. Our liability for a cancellation or rescheduling is limited to the amount you paid to register.
No-shows: If you do not attend and have not cancelled, transferred, or requested a credit in accordance with these terms, the registration fee is non-refundable and no credit will be issued.
5. Recording
The Course may be recorded for the instructor’s use, including for future educational purposes and, at the instructor’s discretion, distribution to registrants. By participating, you consent to the recording of the session.
If you speak, appear on camera, or otherwise participate during the Course, your participation may be captured in the recording. If you prefer not to be recorded, you may keep your camera and microphone off and submit questions in writing where that option is available.
You may not record, reproduce, or distribute the Course or any portion of it yourself without the instructor’s prior written permission.
6. Course Materials
Any materials provided in connection with the Course, including handouts, templates, and written resources, are the intellectual property of the instructor and/or Thoolie and are licensed to you for your personal, individual use only. You may not copy, share, redistribute, resell, or publicly post the materials without prior written permission.
7. Participant Conduct
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or otherwise interferes with the Course, without refund.
8. Privacy
Information you provide during registration is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available here. By registering, you consent to receive communications regarding the Course, including confirmation, access details, and follow-up information.
9. No Guarantees
The Course is intended to provide general education. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, result, or benefit from your participation. Your use of any information from the Course is at your own discretion and risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the instructor, Thoolie, and their affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the Course or these terms. Our total liability arising out of or related to the Course shall not exceed the amount you paid to register.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
12. Agreement
